Diamond core drilling is a method of cutting a wide range of holes
in reinforced concrete, masonry, refractory, asphalt, stone, and
other hard materials. A core bit consists of a steel tube with diamond
segments brazed or laser welded on the drilling end. The diamond
bit removes approximately 3/16" of the material around the
periphery of the hole being drilled, producing a core; hence, the
description "core drilling." We offer our core drilling
services in sizes from 5/8” diameter holes to as large as
48” in diameter holes.
